See the production of alpine cheese
Peek into the vat while the cheese is in production and take in the pleasant aroma of the cheese kitchen. Tuck into a snack of 'bread and cheese' and marvel at the number of cheese wheels in the cheese cellar. Follow the various stages of production right through to the finished cheese wheel. After a morning on the Alp, this will surely give you a new found appreciation for cheese.
Talk to the Moors, an alpine family, and find out everything you ever wanted to know about cheese or life on the Alp.
The fresh alpine milk in Simmental is usually made into Berner Alpkäse AOP and Berner Hobelkäse AOP cheeses. The various herbs and grasses in the alpine meadows and mountain water produce the rich and healthy alpine milk. alpine cheese is only produced during the summer in the Alps. The alpine milk is processed then and there on the Alp.

Adult CHF 18.–, half fare for children (under 6 years is free).

School classes and groups are welcome on the other weekdays. Reservation at least one week before.
