Your workout in any weather
Train your muscles and technique with your friends or family and outgrow yourself with a dose of courage – try bouldering. Bouldering is rope-free climbing at jump height. The BoulderSchüür offers 270 square meters of wall space, where beginners can try out and experienced boulderers work oneself out.
In the past, bouldering was used as training of sport climbers, today there are more and more climbers who only practice bouldering. The converted barn, where the BoulderSchüür is located, is the perfect place to boulder any season and at any weather conditions. There are different levels of difficulty, on vertical wall surfaces and in the overhang. The routes are marked with cards and recognizable by the colors of the handles. The soft mats on the ground catch you when jumping off. Since there is no backup, one person, a so-called spotter, should be able to assess the fall line of the climber and protect the other people in the hall. Equipment for bouldering are comfortable clothing, climbing finches and a magnesia sack. The magnesium increases the grip of the hands because it dries the hand sweat. In a first boulder attempt it is also possible without magnesia and for trial you find some old climbing finches for free in the spot.
The income from the entrance fee is for the further development of the BoulderSchüür and the climbing sport in the region.
