Discover the Simmental on quiet trails. The infinite expanse of the flat valley floor makes the Simmental a genuine cross-country skiing experience. With diverse trails to meet every requirement, nestled in the heart of a pristine mountain landscape, the Simmental is paradise for the appreciative athlete.
The Lenk valley floor offers 18 km of slopes classic and skating (incl. race slope) for cross-country skiing. And although the snow on the valley slopes melts in the Spring, the cross-country skiing season is still far from over. The Haslerberg (accessible with Betelberg gondola) offers 6 km (4,1 km big lap, 1,8 km small lap) of high slopes at 2'000 m a.s.l. surrounded by a unique mountain landscape to explore.
The picturesque valley slope of Zweisimmen – St. Stephan – Lenk extends 13 km across the Simme. The rush of the river in the background and the crunch of the snow under your skis helps you forget about everyday life.
Surrounded by gentle landscape and with a view reaching far into the distance, the Jaunpass offers a unique experience for cross-country skiers. At 1'500 m a.s.l., two cross-country slopes guide you away from the ski resort through a snow-covered landscape; 16 km classic, 9 km skating. The night slope is lit every Wednesday and Saturday until 10 p.m. If there is enough snow, a slope is also opened in the valley of Boltigen.
Idyllic, family-friendly cross-country skiing region for training and pleasure. 4,5 km classic and skating. In addition, the entire 4.5 km can be used daily and until 10 p.m. as a night slope.
