Fishing is allowed along the banks of the Simme from Wimmis to Lenk. Here, you will discover many fishing holes. Brown trout are almost exclusively caught in the Simme, but you may get lucky and have a rainbow trout bite.

The small, mostly clear and idyllic mountain lake Iffigsee lies 2'060 meters above sea level. You can reach the Iffigsee by hiking a good hour from the Iffigenalp. The lake is leased from the Fishing Club Lenk, which maintains it well. Fishing is possible between June and September. Daily licenses are available in the Berg-Gasthaus Iffigenalp or in Älplern am See during the Alp season (July and August).

The Forellensee (Trout Lake) in Zweisimmen is a small natural paradise with a restaurant and a lake that can be fished. Here, you can take a course all about fishing.

Both the mountain lakes Hinter- and Oberstockensee on the Stockhorn are very popular destinations for fishermen and women. Take the Stockhorn railway to the Mittelstation (Middle Station) Chrindi and then choose your favourite spot on either of the two gorgeous mountain lakes. The two lakes can be fished daily from after the snow-melt to the end of the summer season in November. Fishing licenses can be obtained from the Stockhornbahn Valley Railway Station.
