Make music, sing and dance together
In the forum for music and movement nestled in the picturesque, wild landscape located far-back in the Simmental, you can combine an individualised and professional training course with a family holiday and recreation in nature.
During this week in autumn, people from all ages come to Lenk and compile their own individual course programme. This makes it possible to choose between more course time and a more intensive education regiment or more leisure time. Workshops on dancing, singing, making music, building instruments and yoga are offered daily and last between 90 and 360 minutes. Parallel to the courses for adults, children and youth can attend workshops focusing on theatre or music and movement. There are two to three workshops specifically offered to educators to complement the whole education programme. In the framework of the forum, the day can start with singing and keynote speeches and end with dance evenings full of live music. Moreover, forum concerts artistically round off the week of courses. A farewell evening provides you with the opportunity to gain insights into workshops results and to celebrate the end of a week of courses with dancing.
Every year, the two artistic directors Ange Tangermann and Christian Berger bring a team of 8-10 professional course instructors from all over Switzerland and the world together to guide you through the week with their expert competence.
These multi-coloured courses appeal equally to both the layperson and the professional. The Forum for Music and Movement sees itself as a meeting place for all people of all generations who want to dance, make music and sing together in a versatile and exciting way for an entire week.
