Fishing permits are available from Stockhornbahn valley station.
Equipment for ice fishing can be hired from Chrindi central station. Schütz Sport in Erlenbach also stocks a range of equipment.

You can get to Hinterstockensee lake on the Stockhorn summit by taking the Stockhornbahn from Erlenbach. Disembark at Chrindi central station. There are parking spaces available at the valley station (charges apply). If arriving by train, it takes 15 minutes to get to the valley station from Erlenbach station.
