Rent a cow
Rent an alpine cow for the season
Hundreds of cows are moved to higher ground in Simmental during the Spring to graze the rich pastures. Take part in this extraordinary opportunity to rent a piece of alpine life. Choose a cow, meet him or her during a visit to the Alps and then enjoy your share of mouthwatering alpine cheese after the summer. The beginning of a really special friendship.
Call an alpine cow your own for a season in the Alps and take the aroma of the alpine meadows home with you in a large piece of alpine cheese. Take a moment to discover life on the Alps with an alpine family and gain an insight into the world of life in nature, the relationship between animals and humans and life without usual luxury; a life that is sometimes accompanied by feelings of elation and sometimes by loneliness, but always with plenty of hard work. The alpine family will welcome you open-heartedly and introduce you to the cow you have rented.
