Simmental healing plant garden

Discover plants and herbs for healing and cooking

Heilpflanzengarten Simmental

Herb specialist Susanna Krebs puts her heart and soul together with great attention to detail into maintaining her magnificent healing plant garden. Discover the healing power of native and non-native plants and herbs and make your own balm, massage oil or herbal salt under the guidance of Susanna Krebs.

The qualified herb specialist is delighted to enlighten people on the effects of healing plants and herbs. Situated in the rural hamlet of Adlemsried at 1'050 m a.s.l., on a sun terrace over the Simmental, the idyllic healing plant garden boasts over 100 native and non-native healing plants. Susanna Krebs will bring you up to speed on the art of a herb specialist and you can make your own balm, mother tincture, massage oil, Bach / soul flower remedies or edible buds.

The healing plant garden with its own well is also home to a duck pond, shrubbery, hedges, fruit trees, vegetables, berries and flowers. Susanna Krebs uses her crops to make products for her own shop.

The healing plant garden also makes a great outing for children. Rest and enjoy some delights from the garden, kitchen and wood fired oven either in the sunny garden or the cosy parlour. With a trained eye and her impressive knowledge of everything that grows in her little paradise, Susanna Krebs is always glad to give visitors information and offer individual consultations and tours.

Entry to the idyllic garden is free.
