Hiking in Simmental does not stop in the winter! With a whole host of different routes to suit everyone, nestled in the heart of an original mountain landscape, Simmental is a paradise for sport enthusiasts.

Leave your worries behind, inhale the mountain air, feel the snow crunching under your feet and do something good for your body. A wide range of premium prepared hiking paths are at your disposal in the midst of a beautiful mountain setting. There's a great choice available: whether it be around the village of Lenk, on the Betelberg, Bühlberg-Metsch or in Boltigen on the Jaunpass, or in Erlenbach around the Stockhorn, in Oberwil on the Rossberg or along the Simme, through the tranquil Simmental villages.

The Jaunpass is the jewel of Boltigen. The winter hiking trail is also located in the pass area. Surrounded by snow-covered fields and forests, 8 kilometres of prepared winter hiking paths is waiting to be explored. 2 kilometres of this track are lit until 11 p.m. It's a wonderful feeling just taking a breath and unwinding here. The panoramic view in the Simmental valley and the dazzling white snow are amazing.

Lenk hiking pass
The hiking pass enables you to take advantage of the unlimited use of Betelberg gondola and the cable car Stand-Xpress. The Lenk buses are free with SIMMENTAL CARD (guest card).

The winter hiking trails on the Leiterli are open from 10 a.m.
