Looking for something different but would rather not repeat the same old hiking tour? The hiking trails at Lenk are rich in variety and multifaceted. No matter whether your route takes you around the village of Lenk, up the Betelberg or Bühlberg-Metsch or to Boltigen on the Jaunpass, there is always something new to discover.
Snow-covered mountains, mysterious woods and enchanting hikes over mountain passes make you feel as if you have arrived in a fairytale world. Melting snow drips from the trees, noises are muffled and your heavy boots crunch in the snow. Close your eyes, abandon yourself to the natural surrroundings and let yourself be spellbound.
The winter hiking trail in the vicinity of the mountain pass is located on the Jaunpass, also known as the jewel of Boltigen. On the prepared route measuring 7 km, 2 km are always illuminated until 11.00 p.m. Discover your spirit of adventure and immerse yourself in the mysterious winter world, where the fox and the hare wish each other good night.
A final step, a deep breath – done! You gaze wanders proudly over the overwhelming view that opens up before your eyes. The sun warms your face, the snow glistens like a carpet made of ice crystals – an image taken from a picture book. You stand there for minutes on end taking in the marvellous spectacle. Good, have you torn yourself away from your sofa – in any case it hasn’t done any harm to your sense of self-awareness!
