Berghaus Elsigenalp

Arrival from the Spiez motorway exit (26km) towards Frutigen-Adelboden, turn-off Achseten. Follow the mountain road to the valley station of the cable car in Elsigbach.
Parking lot at the valley station Elsigbach. As a guest of the mountain house, you can park for free (a corresponding ticket can be collected at the ticket office of the Elsigenalp cable cars and must be displayed clearly behind the windshield). Please pay attention to the signage for long-term parking in Elsigbach (along the edge of the forest).

By bus from Frutigen-Achseten-Elsigbach train station. In winter, a ski bus operates, which takes you directly from Frutigen train station to Elsigbach, the valley station of the cable car. In summer, travelers to Elsigbach/Elsigenalp should inform the bus driver in Frutigen. He will notify the mountain railway's call bus and pick you up at the Achseten Kirchen station.

From Elsigbach, the cable car takes you to Elsigenalp in about 7 minutes. The mountain house is located about 250 m from the mountain station.

The rooms are available from 4 PM.

Information for our Ski-Special guests: please contact us before your arrival if we may serve you a 3-course dinner daily for CHF 38.00 per person & day (half-board menu). There are no other dining options on the Elsigenalp in the evening and the last cable car descends at 5 PM (it is not possible to come up later).
