The Stand Xpress gondola takes you comfortably to the starting point at the middle station. From here, follow the road on foot to the Snow Beach Lodge, where the tour begins. Always with a superb view of the Wildstrubel massif, the route leads across fields along the edge of the forest to Guetfläck. Always following the Movement Track signals, the route follows the ski lift over snow-covered slopes up to the Metschstand.

  • Public transport

    Take the bus from Lenk railway station to the Stand-Xpress valley station and take the gondola to the middle station.

  • Free parking is available at the valley station.

  • This route is signposted

  • This ski tour follows the signposted Movement Track and is therefore the ideal ski tour for beginners. There is another Movement Track on the Pörisgrat, or on the Jaunpass on the Hundsrügg. In order to tackle other ski tours, expertise in the assessment of the avalanche situation or a mountain guide/snow sports instructor are essential to be safe in the mountains.

  • As with any ski tour, your equipment includes an avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel and ski-crampons.

  • At the Metschstand you have earned your refreshments in the hut.
