Bierwanderung Lenk

Beer enthusiasts, beer lovers, and beer enjoyment seekers take note: there is a beer hike again this year!

If you enjoy drinking beer and want to take a little hike outdoors with friends, you will be happy with our beer hike. At the start, you will receive a beer mug, with which you can taste at each stand along the way.

The 6.5 km long route on the perfectly flat valley floor leads to the Ey, crosses the Iffigbach and the Simme, and returns towards the village.

Along the route, you will find the following breweries: as Jùscht's, Appenzeller Bier, Simmentaler Bier, Egger Bier, Aare Bier and Burgdorfer Bier, which will serve you delicious beer. In addition, there will be tasty grilled food, cheese skewers, pretzels, etc.

The beer hike will be musically accompanied by the "Bärner Ländlers" at the location of the shooting house.

The beer hiking day will continue in the evening with a party in the barn of the David von Känel family. Musically, we will be entertained by the "Bärner Ländlers" and from 9 PM DJ Börren and DJ Mendossa. Food, drinks, and of course beer will also be provided here. The evening party is open to everyone and does not require registration.

Starting April 1, 2026, the ticket shop for the beer hike will open!

How does it work?
You buy your ticket in advance at the ticket shop. Choose your start time between 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM and the number of your tickets. There are 20 starting places available every five minutes. If you are traveling with a group of over 20 people, simply choose the time before or after as well, so you can all start together. Check in at the start and we will let you all start together.

At the start, you will receive a beer pass and a mug. The beer pass allows you to taste 3dl of beer at each stand. Additional beer must be purchased. Food is not included in the ticket.

Food and Drink:
The music society Lenk / St. Stephan will provide additional drinks at each brewery stand. You can get food at three locations along the way, as well as at the start/finish area.

Getting there by public transport:
Take the train via Zweisimmen to Lenk. From the Lenk train station, walk towards Oberriedstrasse 21, following the signs (approx. 15 minutes).

Getting there by car/Parking:
You can find parking across from the start/finish area at Oberriedstrasse 21, 3775 Lenk.

Accommodation:
There's a great offer at the Sporthotel Wildstrubel, right by the Lenk train station. Overnight stay including breakfast and a ticket for the beer hike for only 125.- per person.

So grab it – the offer has a limited number of rooms. The ticket will be handed to you at check-in at the hotel. So you don't need to buy a ticket through this ticket shop. The start time will be between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM.
