We are consciously pursuing this goal and want to offer families unforgettable vacations in the destination Lenk-Simmental. The vacation resort of Lenk, known for being particularly family-friendly, focuses its offers especially on families.

Easy pistes and ski lifts, a children's lift as well as a covered conveyor belt and the Swiss Snow Kids Village of the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Lenk (Lenk Sport & Events) offer the ideal setting for a successful start to a career as a skier or snowboarder.
The ski school grounds can be used free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, children between the ages of 3 and 10 can let off steam and play in the «Alphüttli» childcare centre outside the ski school while mum and dad enjoy a descent for themselves.
Saturday «Kids Free»
Up to two children (aged 6 to 15) can now ski or snowboard for free on Saturdays if they are accompanied by an adult with a 1-day ski pass, a 4-hour or 11 o'clock ticket.
The family offer is valid in all sub-areas of the Adelboden-Lenk ski region: Elsigen-Metsch, Tschentenalp, Engstligenalp, Silleren-Chuenisbärgli, the main Adelboden-Lenk area and Betelberg.
Special lunchtime offer for families
A perfect day on the slopes also includes a delicious lunch in a cosy restaurant on the edge of the piste. In the restaurants Geilsbrüggli and Berghütte Metsch you can get a bowl of salad, a bowl of pasta with sauce, a small dessert per person and 1.5 litres of soft drink by the glass for CHF 30.–. The offer is valid for 2 adults and a maximum of 4 children from Monday to Sunday.
Competent partners for your first steps on skis and snowboard
The teams at the ski schools in the Simmental know the right tips and tricks for the first experiences on skis and snowboards.
In addition to the ski school lessons, the Betelberg Open children's ski race and the kids party take place every week in Lenk. Both are organised by the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School Lenk (Lenk Sport & Events).

This great souvenir for young and old is available at the Tourist Center Lenk, in our online shop and from the following partner businesses: Lenkerhof gourmet spa resort*****, Camping Hasenweide, Lenk municipal administration, Wallbach adventure pool and KUSPO.
Good to know
That's why, for example, various items for small children can be borrowed from the Tourist Center Lenk, there is a babysitting agency at Lenk and toys and books can be borrowed from the toy library or library.
Families can save money here
Guests in the Simmental benefit from various free or discounted offers with the SIMMENTAL CARD (guest card). In addition to the children's programme during twelve weeks in summer and autumn, this also includes free use of public transport in the Simmental-Saanenland adventure region in summer and winter as well as discounted admission to the Wallbach adventure pool. With the guest card you also benefit from discounted day tickets for the Adelboden-Lenk mountain railroads. In our adventure store, services such as the children's program, admission to the adventure pool or the children's swimming course can be booked easily and directly onto the SIMMENTAL CARD.
