This classic mountain run in the Bernese Oberland is rightly considered one of the most beautiful. After the start in Oberwil, the route leads up to the Vorderstockenalp with the mountain prize and on over the Oberstockenalp towards the finish, the Stockhorn summit. The challenge offers more than 1,700 meters of elevation gain. The picturesque route and the unique view make up for the exertions.
This 21.1-kilometre run leads from Oberwil via Bunschen-Weissenburgbad-Weissenburgberg-Tanzboden-Schopf up to Vorderstockenalp and on via Oberstockenalp to the Stockhorn summit. The mountain prize is celebrated on the Vorderstockenalp. The finish line is on the Stockhorn summit. Refreshments await you at the finish, along with a panoramic view of the mountains. For the vertical meters back down to the valley, take the gondola in comfort. The descent is included in the entry fee.
