Wonderful water worlds.
The day begins with an ascent near the misty Simmen Falls to the Barbara Bridge. Water masses plunge over several cascades over stone and envelop the surroundings in water mist. The path winds up through the forest. Deep cuts carved by the Simme into the rock can be seen. Upon arrival at Alp Rezliberg, we are at the birthplace of the Simme. At the foot of the mighty limestone wall, the Simme emerges foaming white. In summer, up to 2800 liters per second flow from the seven springs, called Siebenbrünnen. The path continues over alpine pastures past herders' huts to Langermatte. Iffigenalp is now reached quickly.
