First you take the Stand-Xpress from the Metsch valley station up to 2,100 m above sea level. The start of the trail leads almost at the same altitude up to the "Wallislegi" fork. The hike now leads downhill past alpine huts and cow pastures to the Nessli. Afterwards, the Nessli Beizli is an excellent place to stop for a bite to eat.

From the Nessli Beizli you can either walk to the Metsch middle station of the Stand-Xpress (1h 5min) or to the Simmen Falls (1h 10min).

  • Approach

    By car via Zweisimmen to Lenk. At the traffic circle in the center of the village, drive straight ahead to the Stand-Xpress valley station.

  • Accessible by train and bus. Timetable: SBB

    Outward journey: By train via Zweisimmen to Lenk. On foot or by local bus to the Stand-Xpress valley station, Metschbahnen bus stop.

    Return journey: By train from Lenk.

  • Plenty of free parking spaces at the valley station of the Stand-Xpress.
