The signposted snowshoe route starts from the Bühlberg bus stop in a north-easterly direction on an almost flat path. Making your way over open snow fields, you will clomp your way towards the light woodland in the direction of Schwandweidli. You will cross snow-covered streams, clomp past snow-covered fir trees and cross remote forest clearings. After passing the Schwandweidlihütte, you will find yourself close to the wildlife conservation area. Despite the inviting virgin powder snow here, you should stay on the signposted route and leave the animals undisturbed in their precious habitat. On your return route in the direction of Loosegg, you will follow the practically flat course of a summer road. Shortly before reaching Loosegg you will turn left and climb up to the Bühlberg through semi-open terrain.
