This route is suitable for the whole family. On the way to the Simmen Falls, the view of the Wildstrubel massif is a constant companion. At the Simmenfälle restaurant, the steep rock faces of the Ammertehor are close enough to touch. The thundering Simmen Falls are a natural spectacle that can be admired just a few steps from the Simmen Falls restaurant. The trail runs along side roads and nature trails away from traffic and passes a number of barbecue spots. A detour to the AlpKultur playground at Lenkerseeli is well worthwhile. The return trip can be made on the same route or on the road, or from Rothenbach on a natural road along the Simme.
