Vögel im Alpenraum – Naturführungen

01.04.2026 - 11.10.2026

In Switzerland, eleven bird species occur exclusively in the Alps. Five different altitude levels create habitats with their typical bird species: bearded and griffon vultures, golden and snake eagles, red and black kites, common and wasp buzzards, kestrel, brown-throated warbler, and field larks. These and other species can be observed in the Simmental.

You will learn many interesting facts about their behavior, breeding biology, diet, evolution, and migration patterns. You will learn how to easily identify birds of prey.

With a magnifying glass, you can marvel at the marvel of bird fields and get to know their diverse functions. An exciting nature experience for children and adults.
