Work & Bike'n'Hike Week

After the successful third edition of the Work & Bike'n'Hike Week in the summer of 2024, the municipality of Lenk, Lenk-Bergbahnen, and Lenk-Simmental Tourism are also hosting a volunteer week this year to improve the path infrastructure in Lenk. In addition to mountain bikers, hikers are also warmly invited, in line with the motto "together under WÄGe".

The trail construction professionals from Vast Trails will give you tips and tricks for user-friendly and low-maintenance trail building. You will learn the basic techniques of trail construction and can implement them directly on a section of the path.

However, the shoveling and pickaxing will also have its rewards: For half of the time, you will be engaged in trail building, while during the other half of the day, you can enjoy the region as holiday guests, having fun on the many trails and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Lenk-Simmental region. As compensation, you will receive a free overnight stay including half board. To close the week in a cozy manner, we invite all participants to a joint barbecue evening at Lake Lenker on Thursday night. Participants will also receive mountain railway tickets for the entire week (MON-FRI) and entry to the Wallbach adventure pool.
