The Lenkerseeli has its charm at any time of year. A place of tranquillity in close proximity to the village and with far-reaching views across the small lake to what is probably the most beautiful valley end in the Alps.
The idyllic lake, which is part of the nature reserve of the same name, is just a few minutes' walk from the village centre. There is a footpath around the lake in both summer and winter. If walking in winter is not sporty enough for you, you can also visit the Lenkerseeli on cross-country skis on the trail from the village towards the Simmen Falls. In summer, you can watch the ducks and birds that make their home here. Lenkerseeli is a place to take a deep breath and enjoy nature! Pictures of the beautiful mountain scenery with the Wildstrubel and the lake are particularly good here.
