Para Snowboardcross World Cup Lenk 2025
Cross action on the Betelberg
Lenk in World Cup fever: The Para Snowboardcross World Cup races stopped off in Switzerland for the first time. The spectacular competitions took place in January at the Hasler Cross Park on the Betelberg
With the integration of the Para World Cup races into a cross block of three events, the Para races took place after the European Cup Ski Cross races and the FIS Snowboard Cross races. This is a good example of inclusion and creates synergies with the other events already organised at Lenk.
The para-athletes from all over the world found a perfectly prepared snowboard cross with exciting elements in a unique setting on the Betelberg. Even though there were no competitions on Thursday, the first day of racing, due to the weather, the competitions could still be counted thanks to the timed runs on Wednesday. On Friday, the weather was at its best and first-class competitions with impressive performances could be marvelled at. Satisfied and smiling faces rewarded the organisers (BABE, Bergbahnen Adelboden-Lenk and Lenk-Simmental Tourismus) for the intensive preparations of the past months. A big thank you goes to the sponsors and partners, without whom such an event would not be possible.
The Betelberg and Lenk have also been the official training base for the Swiss Para-Snowboardcross national team for several years now.
