You leave the "normal" world and feel like a cave explorer. Well equipped and accompanied by experienced and professional cave guides, you will discover the fascinating underworld step by step.

There are almost as many caves in the Stockhorn as there are hikers visiting this beautiful area. Most of these caves are equipped with shafts: Abseiling, climbing, crawling (schlufen in correct cave language) - on the tour into the Alpine shaft we leave the "normal" world and feel like the first discoverers of the cave. Once we have familiarized ourselves with the technical equipment, we quickly head towards the middle of the cave, which is less frequented, and we can see and feel its unique beauty! Of course, we also enjoy moments of absolute darkness and tranquillity on the tour.

Arriving by car
Take the A6 freeway via Bern-Thun-Spiez to Wimmis, then head towards Zweisimmen as far as Erlenbach in Simmental. There is a large parking lot (subject to charges) right by the valley station at the end of the village.

Arrival by train
Sit back and relax. Travel in comfort on the RegioExpress "Lötschberger" from Bern directly to Erlenbach i.S. (please note the train addresses). You can also reach Erlenbach i.S. from Lucerne via Interlaken-Spiez or from Montreux via Zweisimmen.

The cave tour is available by arrangement for groups of 3 or more people.
Maximum number of participants: 6 people
Meeting point: 10.00 am at the Chrindi middle station by the wooden rocking horse.
Duration of the tour: approx. 7 hours
Not suitable for children.
