smarTrails are GPS-supported themed and puzzle trails on your smartphone. Using a digital map, you are guided to posts in the real world. As soon as you are at the correct coordinates, the content of the post is displayed.

The only requirement for participation is an internet-enabled smartphone and a full battery or, if necessary, a power bank. With the smarTrails you have the opportunity to discover different places in the Simmental in a playful way. An app is not required, the application is 100% web-based. The first puzzle trail, which leads through the Wallbach Gorge, is already online. Further digital themed and puzzle trails in the Simmental will follow.

Execution
All the necessary information for completing a trail can be found directly in the application. To start the trail, you can open the link below with your smartphone. It is not necessary to register with your e-mail address. In the respective trails, you can see whether the trail is open or closed.

Points of interest (POIs)
When the trail is started on the smartphone, various POIs are displayed on the map. They are shown on the map in the application with a blue circle and can be opened at any time, even if they have not (yet) been visited. POIs are used to add further information to the trail. This can include restaurants, parking facilities, toilets or background information about the trail.

Helpcenter
In the application, you can access the Helpcenter via the "Help" menu item. There you will find help on frequently asked questions.

The Erlenbach theme trail is only available in German.
