The medicinal herb garden is tended by herbalist Susanna Krebs with great passion and attention to detail. Here you can discover the healing powers of indigenous and immigrant plants and herbs and make an ointment, massage oil or herbal salt under the guidance of Susanna Krebs.
The trained herbalist is happy to introduce people to the effects of medicinal plants and herbs. In the rural hamlet of Adlemsried at 1,050 metres above sea level, on a sunny terrace above the Simmental, lies the idyllic medicinal herb garden with over 100 indigenous and immigrant medicinal plants. Susanna Krebs will introduce you to the art of a herbalist and you can make your own ointment, mother tincture, massage oil, Bach or soul flowers or vinegar buds. The medicinal herb garden with fountain is also home to a pond with ducks, shrubs, hedges, fruit trees, vegetables, berries and flowers. Susanna Krebs uses the harvest to make products for her own shop. Children are welcome guests in the medicinal herb garden and feel right at home. Settle down with delicacies from the garden, kitchen and wood-fired oven; in the sunny garden or in the warm parlour. With a trained eye and her impressively broad knowledge of everything that grows in her little paradise, Susanna Krebs is happy to provide information, individual advice and guided tours.
