The reservoir on the Leiterli can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot from the Leiterli mountain station. In winter, the lake serves as a water supply for snowmaking in the Betelberg ski area. In summer, the lake invites you to linger and enjoy. The highlight of the Murmeli Trail is located right by the lake: the interactive, walk-in Murmeli construction - while parents relax by the lake with a wonderful view, the place is perfect for little naturalists to play, learn and discover. The Murmeli adventure then continues on a leisurely hike to the Stoss middle station.
