The bike route leads from Les Diablerets over the Col du Pillion, through the Saanenland to Jaun. After the first ascent, you cross the cantonal border into the Bernese Oberland and ride rapidly downhill towards the Saanenland, with idyllic villages like Gsteig and Saanen. The Saanenland impresses with its landscape, traditional wooden houses, and green alpine meadows.

The sweaty climb through the narrow Grischbachtal leads to Mittelberg with views of the striking rocks of the "Gastlosen". After Abländschen, the route follows the Jaunbach, which accompanies you to the German-speaking Jaun. A visit to the mysterious waterfall and the historic churches is worthwhile here.
