A short gravel path leads from the bus stop at Jaunpass to the small road serving the mountain farming operations in the Bäderberg area. The path gently ascends in broad loops, partly through forest, but mostly over open pastureland. Until shortly before Grosse Bäder, hard surface must be accepted. The wide view over the Saanenland, the adjacent Vaud mountains and the jagged formations of the Gastlosen within reach can somewhat compensate for this. A short stop is worthwhile at the alpine farm at Grosse Bäder. The dairying family produces not only spicy mountain cheese and Mutschler from cow's milk but also unusual goat cheese varieties with herbs or caraway. After Bäderberg, the path continues straight along the slope, then narrows to a mountain trail and rises slightly to Buufeli. It continues with slight ups and downs over Uf Pfad to Zitboden and from there, always with the distinctive rock bastion of the Bäderhorn on the left, back to Bäderberg. The return over Grosse Bäder to Jaunpass is on the same trail but in the opposite direction as at the start of the hike.
