In the morning light, it is worth setting off from the Jaunpass and letting your gaze wander into the distance over the Gastlosen, the Plaine-Morte glacier plateau, and the Valais Alps. The path leads us westwards over alpine pastures past the Bäderalp. The Bäderhore is circumnavigated via the north flank and leads past the Alp Rieneschli into the Reidiggraben. Literally a ditch, because at the top still a wild romantic little valley, it gradually becomes a basin with rising rocks on the left and right. In the Chlus, there is an inviting barbecue spot with wood, offering the opportunity to grill a sausage. From the Taubental, a bubbling brook accompanies us all the way to Boltigen.
