It goes pretty steep down: This easy route leads from the Stockhorn mountain station first to Oberstockensee and then to Hinterstockensee. The alpine waters sparkle in bright green and blue and are surrounded by blooming meadows, tall rocks, and dark fir forests. After two hours with a fantastic view, the 5.8-kilometer route finally ends at the Chrindi middle station. On the long descent, you overcome a total of 620 meters in altitude.

    Even open hiking trails can still be partly covered with snow. Hiking is at your own risk: Tourism Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg assumes no liability for the use of local routes.

  • No need for heavy boots here: This easy hike is well marked and secured with yellow or red-white signs.

    Don't forget your swimsuit: The two lakes are suitable for a refreshing swim. However, please respect the local fishermen at the shore. Mountain restaurants at the start, finish, and on Oberstockenalp invite you to rest.

  • Water stimulates activity: Directly on the shore of Hinterstockensee is the Chrindi playground.
