The 6 km long sledge run leads from the Leiterli mountain station to the Hubelmatte in Pöschenried. For the return transport to the valley station of the Betelberg cable car, a shuttle bus runs (chargeable, adults CHF 5.-, children CHF 1.-).

The sledge run turns right shortly after Leiterli and runs the same way as the summer trotti route. Curve after curve, the path winds into Pöschenried. On the last section, there is occasional oncoming traffic (see map / warning sign is on the route). In Pöschenried you can choose: you can walk along the road into the village or take the sledge bus. Caution: The sledge bus only runs when the sledge run is open!

  • Approach

    By car via Zweisimmen to Lenk, drive to the Betelberg cable car valley station

  • Outbound travel: By train to Lenk. On foot (12 minutes) or by ski bus to the valley station of the Betelberg cable car. Ride up to the mountain station.

    Return travel: From Pöschenried on foot to Lenk or by bus.

  • Parking spaces available at the valley station.

  • Sledge shuttle bus Pöschenried Hubelmatte – Betelberg cable car, valley station

    Departure times Hubelmatte: 11:45, 12:30, 13:15, 14:00, 14:45, 15:30, 16:15, 17:00

    The shuttle bus runs daily when the Pöschenried sledge run is open.
    Cost: Adults: CHF 5.- / Children CHF 1.-
