The Jaunpass is a small but fine winter sports area including a cross-country ski trail. Winter hikers also enjoy it here. A 2.7 km long circular route on the pass summit is even illuminated on some evenings per week. The winter hiking trail to Bäderegg begins at the valley station of the Zügwegen ski lift, which is located just behind the reception of the campsite. The route initially follows the ski lift track, then after 50 m turns left and leads along the edge of the ski slope in a gentle ascent upwards. It then continues onto the alpine lane to Bädermoos. In a wide bend, you reach the wintery mountain forest and deep snow-covered alpine meadows. A particularly charming sight is provided by the wild peaks of the Gastlosen, which are rightfully called the "Dolomites of Switzerland." At the edge of the Chuchifang nature reserve, the groomed path turns right and leads without significant altitude differences over the ridge to Bäderegg. The viewpoint offers a charming view of the Simmental mountain world. The return to Jaunpass follows the same route.
