The 10-person gondola Stand-Xpress of the Adelboden-Lenk cable cars comfortably takes you to the Metsch mid-station, the starting point of the hike. Almost flat, you hike over alpine roads towards Louene. From there, you follow a hiking trail that leads through the wild Bummerebach. The path now climbs steeply but don't worry, it's only a few altitude meters until the idyllic Nessli Beizli is reached. The further you hike, the more impressive the rock faces of the Ammertehore appear. From Nessli to the Siebenbrunnen, the downhill alpine path is wide, so you can fully enjoy the view into the Ammertäli.
"D'Sibe Brünne" – the source of the Simme, which gives the valley its name, is located on Rezliberg. In summer, up to 2,800 liters per second flow over the seven springs of the limestone wall. This place of power, as well as the meringue with cream at Restaurant Siebenbrunnen, is worth a break.
Down to Restaurant Simmenfälle, the Simme is followed further on an alpine road into the valley. Midway, the route passes the Barbarabrücke. On the bridge, the white-spraying spray offers a pleasant refreshment to conclude the tour.
