The route starts in the village of Lenk and leads through the Seefluh forest into the Pöschenried. The road continues along the Iffigbach to the natural spectacle Iffigfall. The water plunges over a hundred meters down several cascades. An incredible force that can be felt there. The plants around the waterfall are lush green. The water droplets on the meadow at the foot of the waterfall sparkle as if countless tiny crystals were scattered here by magic. The Iffigfall belongs to the Gelten-Iffigen nature reserve and with its natural stream course is one of the most beautiful and largest waterfalls in Switzerland. From here, the road winds steeply through the forested mountainside until the Iffigtal at 1,550 m above sea level is finally reached. Mountains like the Mittaghore are within reach. After a leisurely break at the mountain hut Iffigenalp, you ride back strengthened on the road to Lenk.

Optionally, technically skilled bikers can enjoy the technical hiking trail from Iffigenalp into the valley.

The route is consistently easy to ride and ideal for all who prefer to travel on wide paths – there are no singletrails.

  • Public Transport

Lenk is accessible by train. Timetable SBB.

  • There are public parking spaces in the village.

  • This route is technically very easy and mainly runs on asphalt roads. Part of the road is steep, but that is no problem with a bit of E-Bike tailwind. There are no singletrails to overcome on this round trip.

Be sure to observe and comply with the one-way street times from Hubelmatte for both uphill and downhill rides. The bus also runs on the narrow road and must be crossed outside the one-way times, which is a challenge on this narrow road.

    Route no. 3 is signposted.
