The start of this route is Ringoldingen, from where the Simme is crossed and the first altitude meters are gained via Lusbüel and Beibräche. The forest road is followed through the woods via Gelbergallmi to Feldmöser. Now, ascending southwestward through a forest clearing that becomes steeper until the Rinderalp is reached through a hollow. From here it is about 250 altitude meters to the Pfaffen, which is conquered via a southeast slope. The descent is on the same route as the ascent.

  • For ski tours, the appropriate equipment and necessary expertise (avalanche knowledge, alpine skills) are mandatory! If you have no experience in assessing the avalanche situation in open terrain, it is better to go on a ski tour with a trained mountain guide.

  • As with every ski tour, avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, and crampons are part of the equipment.
