The Gran Fondo route leads over 136 km with 2600 metres of altitude difference through the impressive landscape of the Bernese, Fribourg and Vaud Pre-Alps. It offers everything a racing cyclist's heart desires: long climbs, rapid descents, rolling passages and breathtaking views. The route runs over the Mittelberg Pass into the canton of Fribourg, towards the Gibloux mountain ridge and on to the historic town of Gruyères. From there through the idyllic postcard landscape of the Intyamon. In Montbovon there is a very long climb up to the dam wall of Lac Hongrin. From there, it's a descent down into the Pays-d'Enhaut before finishing the tour back in the Gstaad region after an unforgettable day in the saddle. A real highlight for ambitious riders looking for a challenge and beauty in equal measure.
