Sledding at the Mauren ski lift

Near the village is the Mauren ski lift, with its own sledding slope. When snow conditions are scarce, slope no. 16 can be used. Transport is by ski lift. The slope is prepared.

  • Approach

    Park in the village center, then walk to the Maurenlift.

  • You can reach the Maurenlift on foot from the village center in about 10 minutes

  • There are no parking spaces at the lift!

  • The right slope is specially prepared for sleds and bobsleighs.

  • Only 1 sled per ski lift bar. No transport of small children (persons must be able to control the devices themselves). Airboarding is not permitted.

    Rules for sledding

    - Please use only the officially marked sledding slopes

    - When stopping or walking up, move to the edge and make room for other sledders.

    - Avoid alcohol before and during sledding.

    - Do not tie sleds together.

    - Keep distance, both when following each other and when overtaking.

  • Sled/Bob: Bring your own sled or bob.

  • When the weather is gloomy and windy on the Leiterli, it is often very pleasant at the Maurenlift.

    Sledding is possible on the slope at the Mauren small ski lift.
