The first stage serves as the first aperitif of these three trailrunning days in the magnificent Simmental mountain world. First, it goes through the village out towards Guetebrunne, up to the Wysseberg, and over the long ridge up to the Schatthore. Here the highest point of the day is reached: 2,085 m above sea level. The Schatthore impresses with its panoramic view over the valley and the valley end with the Wildstrubel. The best place for a photo stop, also featuring a summit cross. Then it continues over a beautiful ridge section to the Obere Seewle. Via Undere Lavey, the trail continues at height in the direction of Hahnenmoos. The Hahnenmoos pass is passed slightly below the pass height. From there, it goes only downhill via Metsch. Upon reaching the valley floor at Kuspo, the last few hundred meters run alongside the Simme to the finish.
