This ski tour starts at the top station of the Lavey chairlift at 2193m above sea level. The ascent via the Laveygrat ridge is short but beautiful. The Tierberg is reached after just under 200m. The view of the Lenk and Adelboden mountains is gigantic and so is the descent via Seewelen and Gutenbrunnen. There are over 1200 m of descent to enjoy all the way to Lenk.

  • Approach

    By car to the Stand-Xpress valley station. At the end of the tour, take the local bus from Lenk railroad station back to the Stand-Xpress valley station.

  • Take the local bus to the Stand-Xpress valley station, then across the ski area to the Laveygrat

  • At the Stand-Xpress valley station

  • Lavey - Tierberg - Lenk

  • The appropriate equipment and the necessary specialist knowledge (avalanche awareness, alpine skills) are mandatory for ski tours! If you have no experience in assessing the avalanche situation in open terrain, it is better to go on a ski tour with a trained mountain guide.

  • As with any ski tour, you need an avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel and crampons.

  • After a day in the ski area, this tour can be the crowning glory of a day's skiing.
