From Zweisimmen to Spiez, follow the red cycle route signs for Lake Route 9 in the direction of Spiez. This route leads through the lovely Simmental valley to Lake Thun. The ride through the Simmental valley takes you past numerous Simmental houses through quaint villages and beautiful meadows. Although the tour is 600 meters downhill, there are a few small climbs to contend with. In Spiez, the reward is a dip in the cool waters of Lake Thun. You can review the tour in comfort on the train back to Zweisimmen.
