Alpbeizli Dürrenwald
At 1654 m above sea level lies the Dürrenwald alp, where Susi and Chrigel Moor run a cozy alpine restaurant with 40 outdoor seats during the alpine season from the beginning of June to the end of September. The yodeling trail, which was reopened in August 2021, starts directly in front of the hut.
From Friday to Sunday, from 12.00 to 16.30, the Moor family treats their guests to refreshing drinks and regional specialties. Lovingly prepared platters with cheese produced on the alp as well as meat and sausage products from the region are just as much a part of the offer as a crispy, airy meringue with Bärgnidle. A Dürrenwald coffee rounds off the visit perfectly.
Before heading home, it's worth taking a look in the cheese cellar, where you can buy a piece of homemade cheese to take home. Outside opening hours, chilled drinks are available for purchase on a self-service basis.
