Hiking and Tours
The Niderhorn Hut of the SAC Bern is located in the Simmental, southeast above Boltigen at an altitude of 1390 m. Due to its convenient location and easy accessibility, the hut is ideal as a starting point for hikes or as a stopover for long-distance hiking.
A vast network of hiking trails invites you to explore the nearby and distant surroundings. Nearby destinations include the Niderhorn, Obergestelen, or the Seebergseeli.
Longer tours include, for example, Buufal, Schwalmflue, and the Chummigalm.
There are also ambitious long-distance destinations such as the Seeberghorn or hikes to Zweisimmen, Weissenburg, and Lenk.
Diverse mountain bike tours are signposted throughout the area. For example: Niderhorn-Luegle-Seebergsee-Stierenberg-Hind. Chumi-Uf de Flüene-Blankenburg (great descent!)
