A journey through time to Lenk

On October 17th and 18th, 2026, MOB will celebrate its 125th anniversary in Lenk. For this special occasion, the journey from Zweisimmen to Lenk will turn into a nostalgic time travel experience: Step aboard the historic Belle Époque train and enjoy the ride through the autumn landscape of the Simmental. A nostalgic atmosphere, impressive mountain backdrops, and a varied program will make the anniversary weekend an experience for the whole family.

On the station square in Lenk, historical tractors, Belle Époque flair, and a variety of culinary offerings await you. Here you can linger, enjoy regional specialties, and experience the special atmosphere surrounding the MOB anniversary. Numerous encounters and insights into the region's history will make your stay a successful blend of railway tradition, Alpine culture, and living customs.

On Saturday, the founding show with around 300 animals in the Lenk marketplace and Rawilstrasse will express the vibrant tradition of the Simmental. The impressive presentation will highlight the importance of agriculture for the region and will also include beauty contests & awards, as well as shows with decorated animals. On Sunday, the Hotel Lenkerhof gourmet & spa invites you to a delightful Belle Époque brunch. In a stylish setting, you can start your day relaxed and indulge in culinary delights.
