75 Jahre Motoclub St. Stephan
17.07.2026 - 18.07.2026
On July 17, 1951, a few die-hards fired up their pressing iron in the back of the Simmental, founded the Motoclub St. Stephan, and declared a sort of declaration of unyielding against the calm and retirement.
As one ages, one becomes calmer and wisdom returns. Or so one thinks. 75 years later, the motocyclists from Munichrine are still not “quiet,” still revving in four-stroke at the throttle. Although slightly crinkled now, they are still roaring on the saddle. This is not something to take for granted; it is a reason to celebrate. And in this, Europe's greenest valley continues to lead the way.
At an altitude of 1,040 meters above everyday life and with the Wildstrubel in their backs, they offer a jubilee spectacle that will transform the quiet village into ST. STÖFFAN for a weekend. There’s no doubt that gray-haired gentlemen will become lively Töffli boys again and will once more - move a hand's breadth below good manners.
Something that no one should miss on two or more wheels. And this is how it will go:
FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2026 – EVENING BEER
The kickoff is disguised as an evening beer but is in reality a full-throttle open-air: HAMSCHTER, KITSCH, and VOLXROX crank the evening louder piece by piece until at midnight even the Strubel briefly opens its eyes. After that, DJ Mendossa takes over and leads through the night like a spotlight towards freedom - with no guarantee that the way home will take place before sunrise.
SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2026 – THE BIG DAY
During the day, the airfield becomes a pilgrimage site for anything with chrome, displacement, and a questionable insurance situation: motorcycle meetup, autograph session, shows – and in the air, the scent of gasoline and seventy-five years of history casts its own shadow.
In the evening, they take the microphone: SILI AND THE GREY ROCK REBELS kick things off, followed by BAD ASS ROMANCE, ROCK-OUT, and finally MEGAWATT cranks up as long as midnight can hold out. And to ensure that nobody gets any silly ideas like sleeping, DJ Mendossa continues in the aftershow.
In between, around, and in the midst of everything, what makes motorcyclists: campsite, camaraderie, and genuine friendship.
The MC St. Stephan knows how to put together such an event; this is not a claim but a matter of record – as a supermoto organizer from 2005 to 2011, it has personally dragged motorsport into the valley when others were still discussing noise protection. But in 2026, it's less about the sportiness and more about the certainty that after 75 years, one is still alive.
ST. STÖFFAN ROCKS! 75 years. Two nights. A legend.
All concerts require tickets.
