Kräuterwanderungen an der Lenk

During five varied day hikes, you will learn about medicinal plants, alpine flowers, wild herbs, and orchids that grow in unparalleled abundance in Lenk. You will hear a wealth of interesting and amusing facts about their healing properties, identifying features, and life cycles, listen to exciting stories about their significance in folk and superstitious beliefs, and discover many small wonders along the roadside.

The extremely impressive landscape in Lenk, with its mountain forests, flower meadows, glaciers, mountain lakes, and waterfalls, is rich in experiences and ideal for botanical mountain hikes. Planned are, among others, hikes to the Simmen source "Siebebrünne", to the imposing Simmen waterfalls, to Iffigsee and Iffigfall, through the unique crater landscape "Gryden", and to the alpine flowers and Arolla pines on Hohberg.
