Novemberkonzert Chor und Alphörner Lenk

The church choirs of Lenk and Sigriswil have come together and warmly invite you to a varied concert with surprising sounds.

The Mass for choir, alphorns, and timpani by the composer and alphorn player Franz Schüssele (*1952), who hails from Friesenheim in southern Germany, is a happy synthesis of folk and church music. The three alphorns, which play a central role in both a solo and accompanying capacity within the mass composition, make this work a delight of a very special kind.
