Vögel im Alpenraum – Naturführungen (Boltigen)
01.05.2024 - 15.09.2024
In Switzerland, eleven bird species occur exclusively in the Alps. Five different altitude levels create habitats with their typical bird species: Bearded and Griffon Vultures, Golden and Snake Eagles, Red Kite, Common Kestrel, European Stonechat, and Skylark. These and other species can be observed in the Simmental.
You will learn a lot of interesting facts about their behavior, breeding biology, diet, migratory behavior, and how to easily identify raptors.
