Mountains, cows and cheese. A stereotype, indeed. And yes, this culture is cultivated here and if we are honest, we are proud of it. The weekend of the Älplerfest and Älplerzmorge is for many the highlight of the events. Which cow will succeed the previous year's winner and carry the title of Miss Lenk for a year? At the heart of the legendary alpine festival is the election of the four-legged Miss Lenk and the "Zügleten". Every hour there is a cattle parade, the so-called "Züglete", in which the lovingly decorated cows parade through the village. Vote for the most beautiful female driver on four legs. Give your favorite your vote. Take part in the competition and become the proud owner of a cow calf if you win. A large selection of genuine Lenk products and handicrafts will be on offer for tasting and sale throughout the day at the Buremärit. Music and a festival restaurant ensure a good atmosphere and good food and drink. In the evening, the traditional alpine evening with music and dancing takes place in the marquee. To round off the Älplerfest the day before, an extensive Älplerzmorge awaits you in the marquee on Sunday. Have breakfast from 9.00 a.m. and enjoy local produce.
