TRAIL FLY Lenk is a 2-day hike and fly race in a class of its own in the beautiful Lenk flying arena. The most beautiful places in Lenk and the surrounding area are approached or flown to by paraglider or on foot. The winner of the TRAIL FLY Lenk is the pilot who has reached the most places (turnpoints) after the two days of the competition and lands on time in Lenk.
Trail Fly welcomes every hike and fly fan who enjoys this varied sport. The starting point of the Trail Fly is the village of Lenk im Simmental. From there you start on foot to the first turnpoint. The exact turnpoints will be announced 24 hours before the start of the competition. The turnpoints are flown to in a predetermined order. The winner of the Trail Fly is the person who has reached the most turnpoints by the specified finish time. The turnpoints marked "GROUND" must be passed on the ground, all other turnpoints marked "FREE" can be flown over or passed on foot. Participants who want to take a more leisurely approach to the competition can take part in the FUN category. In this category, selected mountain railroads may be used as desired to reach the turnpoints. The aim of TRAIL FLY Lenk is to offer an exciting hike and fly competition in a relaxed atmosphere and in a fantastic flying area.
